I just wanted to wish a quick, belated Merry Christmas to you all! We're having a wonderful holiday and I hope all of you are, too. We're headed back home soon and I'll be sure to post some pictures as soon as we get in and get settled. I hope you all had a great holiday and have a wonderful (and safe!) new year!

Sneak Peek for the "T" Family!

Hello!  I just wanted to share a quick sneak peek for the "T" family.  We did their session a few weeks ago just as the fall color here was leaving us.  The girls have on their holiday red and we did several family pictures with everyone all dressed in their best!  These girls are so beautiful - and I'm lucky enough to have gotten to take their pictures twice now.

Anyway, here are just a few of my favorites so far!

Beautiful little "K"

Two sweet sisters!

We did this same shot back in February of last year.  It's fun to see them both a little older now! They get so big so fast, don't they?

And one of the family in the golden sunset!  Aren't they a gorgeous family?

That's all for now, but will post more soon for you guys!  Enjoy!

More of the "S" family!

Hi everyone!  I just had to come back and post a few more from the "S" family session.  They were just so darn cute!  I love how the family ones came out and am posting two of my favorites (along with some extra ones of the kids that I just love!). Doesn't Mom just look gorgeous?  That color sweater and scarf just made her eyes and skin pop! The sweaters were so fun and I enjoyed bringing out the color in these.  Here are a few more - enjoy!

I love this one - the kids look so mischievous!

Adorable kids downtown!

I love this one, too... None of these three kids could take a bad picture!

And another super sweet one.  Love this one, too!

Well, I guess that was technically more than "a few!"  But I guess since it's my blog, it's ok, right? They were just too sweet not to share!  I have another family session I'll be posting a sneak peek for very soon.  So stay tuned!

The Colorful "S" Family - Sneak Peek!

Happy Friday!  What a busy week... I'm so happy for the weekend to be here!  I just wanted to do a quick sneak peek for the "S" family today.  I'm working through your photos, guys and about half-way done!  I had to share some of the first ones I've finished - these kids are just too cute.  I LOVED their colorful sweaters!  We did these in Olde Town Conyers in freezing temperatures one Saturday morning.  I don't think the thermometer even reached freezing while we were out there!  I've got many more (including some great family ones - what a great looking family!), but until then, here are a few of the kiddos!

Big sister and one of her little brothers:

Miss "K" - isn't her hair precious?!

Mr. "C" looking so sweet...

And baby brother "T" - poor baby was so cold!  He did so well for us though!

And one of my new faves - big sister telling her brother a secret :-)  We were fighting full sun here and as you can see, I lost somewhat - ha!  The kids were so happy to be in some sunshine in the frigid cold, so all was good...

Until next time - enjoy!  Can't wait to post some more from this session - hope to have them up soon, guys!

Back from Thanksgiving holidays!

Hi everyone!  I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving - we definitely did.  It flew by way too quickly though.  Sorry for not posting in a while!  I've been busy trying to wrap up a few Christmas cards and editing 2 new sessions I did a week ago.  And I can't forget about the pictures I'm working on of my new niece!  So, life has been busy, but good :-)  I promise to post new pictures soon of my most recent sessions.  And hopefully a picture or two for our family Christmas cards (we attempted to get them done this past weekend - fighting the rain, humidity and a two-year-old in need of a nap!).

Anyway, in the meantime, I did want to add a few pictures of the boys I did a few weeks ago.  I "featured" more of the girls in my earlier post, so I wanted to come back and add in a few of the boys, too!  Here you go!

Mr. L who was constantly on the run!  Good thing I had the trusty chair to contain him for 2 seconds!

Mr. W looks so sweet!  He's such a handsome boy...

And one more of the whole crew :-)  Aren't they all cute?!

That's all for now, but promise to be back soon with a couple of newborn pictures of my niece!

An Overdue Sneak Peek!

This is an overdue sneak peek for the J and G families.  These little cuties are from two families (they're all cousins).  In the first picture, the two on the top right are twins!  Their adorable brother is to the left of them.  And the sweet little one year old is their cousin (she just turned one and is the cutest thing walking around!).  I've got many, many more to go through and am so happy I have a few more group ones where everyone is looking at me - ha!

These are a handful I worked on this week and wanted to share.  What cute kids they all were! You can tell from below that I haven't gotten to the boys' pictures yet.  I promise I'll be getting to those soon!  I started mostly with the ones of one-year-old Miss "M" and am working my way through all of the kiddos - slowly, but surely!  It always takes a little longer with multiple kids - so many cute little faces though :-)

Anyway - wanted to post these before I head out of town.  Our new niece arrived Wednesday night, so we're hoping to meet her this weekend!  Hopefully these new pics will hold me over until I can get back with some new posts next week.  Thanks for letting me have a go at these cuties!  Kids, I hope you got your ice cream :-)

Mmmmm, hands are yummy!

"M" cruising around... I love this age because they can't go too fast or too far from you!  Did I mention adorable Miss "M" is my cousin (2nd cousin to be exact!)?

We were fighting some full sun, but we made it work!

I love this one :-)

Miss "G" thinks pictures are exhausting :-)  I'm always a sucker for the serious faces!  I do think I have one of her smiling - she was such a good sport!  Her outfit just looked too perfect with my yellow chair (have I mentioned I love to buy old chairs and repaint them - then distress them all over again?  Much to Shawn's dismay, I'm building quite a collection in the garage :-)

Now if this picture doesn't make you smile, then something must be wrong with you!  How adorable is this?  I bought this little rocker for $5 at an antique store.  I have been trying to find "free time" to re-paint it and distress it.  But, luckily my mom convinced me to throw it into the car and take it along even though I hadn't re-done it yet.  The size was just to perfect for an itty-bitty like Miss "M!"  So yeah, guess Mom was right :-)  (Did I really just admit that?!)

More to come later - including some pics of those handsome boys!  Oh - and maybe an "out take" or two.  With 4 kids under the age of 5, we got some good ones :-)

Happy Friday!

Happy Friday!  I just had one more quick one to share for Miss "S" and her family.  Her expression here cracks me up!  Too cute not to post :-)  Isn't her dress adorable?  I just love it!

I'll be back later with one other sneak peek!

Session Availability Update

Hello! I hope everyone is enjoying this great fall weather we're having. The colors outside are just amazing! We were in our hometown of Auburn, AL this past weekend for the homecoming game and we took Harrison out for some pictures in the gorgeous leaves. He had a great time throwing them in the air :-) I'll post pictures soon!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm almost booked up through December. I may be able to work out one more December date, but I'll most likely be scheduling next appointments in January 2009. I'm only taking a small number of sessions between now and the end of December. In addition to Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, we're planning a trip to Birmingham, AL any day now to visit our soon-to-arrive niece! But if you're interested in a session soon, please email me and we'll get a date set as soon as possible. Have a great day everyone!

More of the family session with Miss "S"

I've been editing ones from our session and I pulled out a few more favorites!  I just LOVE this red dress she wore - she reminds me of Alice in Wonderland with the dress and headband!  It really helped make these pictures pop.

Anyway, hope you enjoy these, guys!  More to come and I'll let you know when I have your gallery together.

I just LOVE this one:

Little miss "Alice in Wonderland!"  It's definitely one of my new favorites!

This was a piece of mulch used as a pencil :-)  Kids are so creative!

Boo! Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! Here is one of Harrison in his "lil' Frank" costume :-) I promise I do have some ones of him smiling, but this one was just so funny to me!

Have a great time trick-or-treating and I'll be back with more from my recent sessions!

Just one for Miss S and family!

I got back not too long ago from a fun session with Miss "S" and her parents.  She was such a trooper and hung in there until the end!  Anyway, I'm off to bed (too many late nights editing and working on the blog this week!) and of course I couldn't just unload the photos and not edit just one :-)  I grabbed one of the first ones I came to and here's what we have.  Many, many more to go through, but here is one for tonight! I'll post more in a day or so!  Till then, here you go :-)

Welcome to my new blog!

Hello!  My name is Amy Geiger and I'm a new photographer just venturing out in the "photography world."  I've been having a blast this past year while taking photographs for friends and friends of friends.  It's been such great experience and I look forward to growing as a photographer more and more each day!

I've finally gotten a blog together and I hope to have a web site coming soon.  Until then, I plan to use my blog as a place to share information, portraits I'm working on and most importantly - a central place to provide session "sneak peeks" for you all!

More to come soon and I promise I'll try not to overload the blog with pictures of my 2 year old, Harrison :-)  Until next time, I'll share a few recent ones from my adventures with Harrison!  If you like my style and are interested in a session, please email me at  Hope to hear from you soon!
